Summary |
Little is known about the role of STARD3 in melanoma. We performed microarrays to revealed the transcriptional change of a human melanoma cell line (MeWo) to scr-shRNA and STARD3-shRNA in order to provide insight into the role of STARD3 in MeWo cells.

Overall design |
MeWo cells were stably transfected with scr-shRNA and STARD3-shRNA and total RNA was extracted by using TRIzol Reagent. Affymetrix Microarray analysis was conducted on the MeWo cells expressing by using Affymetrix Microarray chip.
