Title The effect of STARD3 knockdown on melanoma cell line MeWo

Summary Little is known about the role of STARD3 in melanoma. We performed microarrays to revealed the transcriptional change of a human melanoma cell line (MeWo) to scr-shRNA and STARD3-shRNA in order to provide insight into the role of STARD3 in MeWo cells.
 
Overall design MeWo cells were stably transfected with scr-shRNA and STARD3-shRNA and total RNA was extracted by using TRIzol Reagent. Affymetrix Microarray analysis was conducted on the MeWo cells expressing by using Affymetrix Microarray chip.
