Conjugated linoleic acid delipidative effect on obese line: time course (dye-swap)

Analysis of epididymal adipose tissue from M16 polygenic obese animals fed diet containing 1% trans-10 cis-12-conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). Body weight was 12% lower by day 14 on CLA diet. Adipose examined at 5 and 14 days. Results provide insight to mechanisms underlying CLA delipidative effect.

Microarray Analysis of the Delipidation of White Adipose Tissue of Mice Fed Conjugated Linoleic Acid

(Submitter supplied) The white adipose tissue (WAT) rapidly loses mass when mice are fed a diet containing trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid (t10c12 CLA). A microarray analysis of WAT due to CLA feeding was performed to better define the processes and genes involved. WAT weight decreased by ca. 80% over 17 days of feeding a 0.5% t10c12 CLA diet. Trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid delipidiative effect on white adipose tissues: time course

Analysis of retroperitoneal white adipose tissue (WAT) of C57BL/6J males fed a diet containing 0.5% trans-10 ,cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid (t10c12 CLA) for up to 17 days. Results provide insight into the mechanisms underlying the reduction in fat content of mice WAT in response to t10c12 CLA.

Epididymal fat tissues-DU6/DU6i-DUKs/DBA

(Submitter supplied) Pooled RNA samples were prepared for each of the four mouse strainsDU6, DU6i, DUKs, and DBA by epididymal fat tissues of 42 days old 20 male per lines. Pooling was used to reduce individual variability, which is high in outbred populations. For the hybridization of the tissue specific RNAs to the GeneChips, samples were prepared according to the recommendations of the Affymetrix user guide.
