Samples were hybridized in 3 hybridizations per KO group, each normalized to control. Agilent platform Agilent-014868 Whole Mouse Genome Microarray 4x44K G4122F was used.

Arrays were scanned on an Axon Scanner to detect Cy3 and Cy5 flourescence.

| Data processing |
GenePix Pro 6.0 acquisition and analysis software was used to visualize and analyze the 16-bit TIFF files generated by the scanner. After cluster analysis, sample 6 and 12 were excluded.
For further analysis, GenePix 4000B with global normalization was used to normalize the ratio of medians (635/532) representing KO vs control was used for probes with flag = 0 (present).
