Data processing |
Images were quantified using Agilent Feature Extraction software (Version 9.5.1). For each intensity signal we required that the signal to noise ratio s > 1, where s is obtained by dividing the background corrected intensity by the standard deviation of the background pixels. Second, we required that the correlation between the mean and the median signal intensities r > 0.85 where r is obtained by dividing the smaller of the mean or median by the larger. Spots that failed to pass these filtering criteria were assigned a reading of zero. Signals that passed were corrected for background intensity and log2 transformed.
