Pregnant females were subcutaneously injected twice with 0.4mg/kg of dexamethasone at embryonic stages 17.5 and 18.5. (Only in SAMPLES 15, 16 and 17)

Growth protocol |
Animals were housed in type IIL individually ventilated cages, in a temperature- and humidity-controlled room with a 12h light/dark cycle, with food (Teklad 2014, Harlan Laboratories) and water available ad libitum. All the lung samples were collected from postnatal day 0 mice.

Extraction protocol |
Manually selected lungs of Control, HRas-KO, NRas-KO and DKO from postnatal day 0 were used for RNA extraction using the TRIZOL protocol. RNA was further purified using Qiagen Rneasy mini kit. Each RNA sample for each microarray was obtained from one individual animal.
