Sample GSM1614849 Query DataSets for GSM1614849
Status Public on Sep 17, 2016
Title Peripheral lesion [74]
Sample type SRA

Source name DRG neuron
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics developmental stage: adult
time after plating: none
Growth protocol Adult lumbar mouse DRG were dissected, dissociated and plated at low density on laminin-coated (5 μg/ml, Roche) dishes. Neurons were cultured in Neurobasal-A medium supplemented with B-27 (Gibco), and maintained in a humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2 in air at 36.5°C.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Cells were isolated by cell sorting, lyzed in Qiazol and RNA isolated. Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kits V2 was used with 10 ng of total RNA for the construction of sequencing libraries.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 1500

Description Sample 13
Data processing Illumina Casava1.8 software used for basecalling.
Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and masked for low-complexity or low-quality sequence, then mapped to mm10 whole genome using TopHat with default parameters.
mRNA quantification according to RefSeq Transcripts - 2014-01-03.
raw read counts were normalized by DE-Seq.
Genome_build: mm10
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tab-delimited text files include DE-Seq normailzed expression values for each Sample.
