Title Harvested primary hepatocytes exposed to either normoxia or hypoxia (1% O2)
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary Hepatocytes endogenously express high levels of the enzyme tryptophan dehydrogenase (TDO2), in the current study we explore the effect of reduced oxygen on hepatocyte Tryptophan metabolism

Overall design Primary hepatoctes were harvested from 8 to 12 week old wildtype C57BL/6 mice and taken into culture, following which they were either cultured under normoxic (19.5%) or hypoxic (1% O2) conditions for 72 hours before harvest for microarray analysis.
