Title |
Calorie restriction regulates translation to regulate metabolism in mouse liver |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Using next generation sequencing, we report transcripts that are differentially associated in the mouse liver polysomes under calorie restriction.

|
Overall design |
2 month old animals were put under 30% calorie restricted diet for three months. Control animals were fed ad libitum. Liver tissues were harvested at 6 time points across the day and polysome profiling was performed. Rna extracted from polysome fractions were assayed using next generation sequencing.
