Divalent cations promote the transfer of the IncP-7 plasmid pCAR1 among different Pseudomonas hosts

(Submitter supplied) An incompatibility P-7 plasmid pCAR1 can be efficiently transferred among artificial microcosms in the presence of divalent cations Ca2+ and Mg2+. Modulation of primary cell function of host Pseudomonas bacteria by conjugative plasmid pCAR1

(Submitter supplied) Impacts of plasmid carriage on its host cell were comprehensively analyzed using conjugative plasmid pCAR1 in the three different kinds of hosts, Pseudomonas putida KT2440, P. aeruginosa PAO1, and P. fluorescens Pf0-1. Expression analysis of the AdnA regulon in Pseudomonas fluorescens Pf0-1

(Submitter supplied) Investigation of whole genome gene expression AdnA in Pseudomonas fluorescens, an ortholog of FleQ in P. aeruginosa, regulates both motility and flagella-mediated attachment to various surfaces. A whole genome microarray determined the AdnA transcriptome by comparing the gene expression pattern of wild-type Pf0-1 to that of Pf0-2x (adnA-) in broth culture.
