Gene expression profile associated with a cytostatic does of mifepristone in ovarian cancer cells by microarray analysis

(Submitter supplied) Goal of the experiment: To examine differential gene expression in three ovarian cancer cell lines in the absence and presence of mifepristone. Brief description of the experiment: Hypothesis: The gene expression profile associated with a cytostatic response to Mifepristone will be similar between ovarian cancer cells regardless of their p53 status or sensitivity to Cisplatin. Aim: Evaluate the modifications in gene expression profile in ovarian cancer cells in response to a cytostatic concentration of Mifepristone against those in logarithmic phase of growth (Vehicle). more...

NIH-3T3 cell line response to proteasome inhibitor

(Submitter supplied) In this study, we compared the transcriptional profile of NIH-3T3 cells that are either wild-type (WT) or Nrf1 knockout (Nrf1-KO). We treated these cells with carfilzomib for 6 hours or 24 hours and performed RNA-sequencing with these samples.

Thioxotriazole copper(II) complex A0 kills cancer cells inducing endoplasmic reticulum stress and paraptotic cell death

(Submitter supplied) Time-course experiment for gene expression profiling of HT1080 cells showed that while cisplatin induced p53 targets, A0 regulates genes involved in response to heavy metals or to unfolded protein, supporting the absence of relation between sensitivities to the two drugs Keywords: Time-course Experiment

Transcriptomic of MKD (MUC1 kidney disease) patient compares to normal derived kidney epithelial cells

(Submitter supplied) bulk RNAseq of MUC1 kidney disease patient derived kidney epithelial cells compare to normal kidney cells. The goal of this study was to elucidate the biological mechanism underlying MUC1 kidney disease using MUC1 expressing cells derived from either a patient or a healthy individual kidney

RNA sequencing in kidneys of MUC1 Kidney Disease mouse model with and without treatment

(Submitter supplied) MUC1 kidney disease mouse model generated by knock-in of the human mutated MUC1-fs gene. The mice were treated for 7 days, daily with either vehicle control or BRD4780, a compound showed to be beneficial to disease cells in-vitro. The kidneys were then removed and the bulk RNA was sequenced. The goal of this study was to undersand the effect of the compound on the diseased kidneys and to gain insights to its mechanism of action.
