LIC_11321 family protein
This protein family appears restricted to the genus Leptospira, but is nearly always present in that lineage. Most members of the family appear to have either a type I (regular) or type II (lipoprotein) signal peptide. The HMM built for this family omits the signal peptide region and an adjacent short region of low-complexity sequence. An invariant GCC[RK]I[KR] motif is notable in the short region (46 amino acids) that is the most highly conserved. The function is unknown.
RsmB/NOP family class I SAM-dependent RNA methyltransferase
RsmB/NOP family class I SAM-dependent RNA methyltransferase similar to tRNA (cytosine(34)-C(5))-methyltransferase, which methylates cytosine at specific positions of intron-containing tRNA(Leu)(CAA) precursors and tRNA(Gly)(GCC) precursors
NaeI family type II restriction endonuclease
Members of this family adopt a secondary structure consisting of nine alpha-helices, six 3-10 helices and 13 beta-strands. They bind two GCC-CGG recognition sequences to cleave DNA into blunt-ended products [1]. [1]. 10856254. Crystal structure of NaeI-an evolutionary bridge between DNA. endonuclease and topoisomerase.. phage integrase Arm DNA-binding domain-containing protein
The amino terminal domain of bacteriophage lambda integrase folds into a three-stranded, antiparallel beta-sheet that packs against a C-terminal alpha-helix, adopting a fold that is structurally related to the three-stranded beta-sheet family of DNA-binding domains (which includes the GCC-box DNA-binding domain and the N-terminal domain of Tn916 integrase). This domain is responsible for high-affinity binding to each of the five DNA arm-type sites and is also a context-sensitive modulator of DNA cleavage [1]. [1]. 11904406. Arm-site binding by lambda -integrase: solution structure and. functional characterization of its amino-terminal domain.. Wojciak JM, Sarkar D, Landy A, Clubb RT;. Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2002;99:3434-3439. (from Pfam)
tRNA:m(4)X modification enzyme TRM13 family protein
tRNA:m(4)X modification enzyme TRM13 family protein is a class I SAM-dependent methyltransferase similar to Oryza sativa TRM13, a tRNA methylase that catalyzes 2'-O-methyladenosine (Am) nucleoside formation on tRNA(Gly)(GCC) in vitro
AP2/ERF family transcription factor
AP2/ERF family transcription factor binds to the GCC-box pathogenesis-related promoter element; similar to Arabidopsis thaliana ethylene-responsive transcription factors and dehydration-responsive element-binding proteins
AP2/ERF family transcription factor binds to the GCC-box pathogenesis-related promoter element; similar to Cyperus esculentus WRI4 and Persea americana wrinkled4
RsmB/NOP family class I SAM-dependent RNA methyltransferase similar to tRNA (cytosine(34)-C(5))-methyltransferase, which methylates cytosine at specific positions of intron-containing tRNA(Leu)(CAA) precursors and tRNA(Gly)(GCC) precursors, and to Saccharomyces cerevisiae 25S rRNA (cytosine(2278)-C(5))-methyltransferase, which specifically methylates the C(5) position of cytosine 2278 (m5C2278) in 25S rRNA
