For the validation, 12 patients with Leopard syndrome were analyzed. In 50% of the samples, pathogenic variant of PTPN11 gene were detected in exon 7, 33.3% in exon 12 and 16.6% in exon 13. Sequencing analysis approaches an analytical sensitivity of almost 100%.
