Sample GSM944972 Query DataSets for GSM944972
Status Public on Jul 03, 2012
Title Endogenous small RNAs from peach leaf
Sample type SRA

Source name peach leaf
Organism Prunus persica
Characteristics cultivar: Lovell
tissue: peach leaf
developmental stage: emerging first leaves
Growth protocol Peach trees are grown under normal field conditions
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA extraction for different peach tissues was performed using Plant RNA Purification Reagent (Invitrogen, CA). Libraries for peach flower and fruit were constructed according to SOLiD total RNA-seq kit. Libraries for peach root and leaf were constructed according to the standard protocol by Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI). Degradome library was constructed using the standard protocol by BGI.
small RNA sequencing was conducted by BGI, using SOLiD System 4.0 for peach flower and fruit; Illumina HiSeq 2000 for peach root and leaf.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection size fractionation
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing Adaptors were trimmed with CLC Genomic Workbench, and counted and merged using customized perl scripts.
