OSCC and non-OSCC pair-wise samples were prepared after cutting into 5μm-thick sections on a microtome with a disposable blade.Total RNA was isolated using an RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer's instruction.

Data processing |
Data analysis was performed with GeneSpring GX software (Agilent Technologies). Arrays with less than 50% detected probes were excluded. Array data from 28 tumor and non-tumor pair-wise sample were then subjected to further analysis. Quantile normalisation was performed.
