Sample GSM7668507 Query DataSets for GSM7668507
Status Public on Nov 26, 2023
Title Wt-FB2_326_251_S5
Sample type SRA

Source name fat body
Organism Anopheles gambiae
Characteristics tissue: fat body
genotype: mosGILT WT
treatment: Blood feeding
Treatment protocol mosGILTnull and Wild type (WT,control) mosquitoes were fed on naïve mice
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol The whole body, ovaries, and fat bodies were collected from blood-fed mosquitoes 24 h after completion of the meal. Total RNA was extracted from the whole body, ovaries, or fat bodies from mosquitoes. Trizol was added to the tissues and RNA was isolated using a RNeasy Mini Kit (QIAGEN)
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2500

Data processing Partek Flow
RNAseq data were trimmed and aligned to the Anopheles genome, with associated annotation file using STAR (v2.7.3a).
The aligned reads were quantified to Ensembl transcripts using the Partek E/M algorithm and the subsequent steps were performed on gene-level annotation followed by total count normalization.
The counts generated were processed by gene set analysis (GSA).
Assembly: Anopheles gambiae PEST
Supplementary files format and content: tab-delimited text files include baseMean for each gene
