S2 cells were stably transfected with the repressive or the activated isoform of Shavenbaby (Svb) to study the influence of theproteasone mediated cleavage of this transcription factor. Exponentially growing cells were crosslinked and harvested as previously (Liang, Lacroix et al., Molecular Cell, 2014, Vol 53, 672-681).
