Total RNA was extracted from each frozen tumor specimen using the Qiashredder (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany) and the RNeasy Kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Targets were fragmented at 94°C for 35 minutes and 15µg of it was hybridized to HG-U133A chips 45°C for 16 hours. The arrays were washed and stained with 10µg/ml streptavidin-phycoerythrin. After signal amplification with biotinylated anti-streptavidin antibodies.
