Treatment protocol |
Lungs were dissected from E11.5 embryos and tip epithelium was microdissected following a 5 minute treatment with 16U/ml dispase. For E17.5 cells, pregnant females were injected with 150 micrograms per gram body weight at E16.5. E17.5 embryos were dissected and GFP+ lungs selected under GFP-dissecting microscope. Lungs were dissociated to single cells using trypsin/EDTA and GFP+ cells isolated by flow cytometry.

Timed matings of Id2-CreER/+heterozygotes with Rosa26R-fGFP/fGFP homozygotes. Noon on day of plug = E0.5.
