Samples were hybridized to Agilent-039494 Whole Human Genome Oligo Microarrays 8x60K v2, according to the Agilent 60-mer oligo microarray processing protocol and using the Agilent Gene Expression Hybridization Kit (Agilent Technologies).

Fluorescence signals of the hybridized Agilent Microarrays were detected using Agilent's Microarray Scanner System (Agilent Technologies).

| Data processing |
Data were analyzed in two sets, blood and tissue. For each data set, it was background corrected and quantile normalized. Then LIMMA was applied to calculate significant differential expression between samples. This was performed in R (v 3.1.1) with Bioconductor packages.
