Status Public on Jul 17, 2015
Title Light exposure plus minocycline rep 1
Sample type SRA

Source name retina_1hr_light_minocycline
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: CD1
treatment: 10.000 Lux light exposure for 1h + 45 mg/kg minocycline injection i.p. daily for 4 days, analysis after four days
tissue: retina
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Retinas were removed and RNA was harvested using Qiagen RNeasy Kit.
Library preparation and RNAseq were carried out as described in the Illumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA Sample Preparation Guide, the Illumina HiSeq 1000 System User Guide (Illumina, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA), and the KAPA Library Quantification Kit - Illumina/ABI Prism User Guide (Kapa Biosystems, Inc., Woburn, MA, USA).

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 1000

Data processing Illumina Casava1.8.2 software used for basecalling.
The analyses were performed with the Illumina RNA Express software that aligns RNA-Seq reads with STAR aligner, assigns reads to genes and performs differential gene expression with DESeq2
Genome_build: mm10
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tab-delimited text file includes Dseq2-normalized counts.
