Extraction protocol |
In cohort 1, RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent, followed by double precipitation with isopropanol and final precipitation with 5M lithium chloride. In cohort 2, RNA was extracted by use of the miRNeasy mini kit. RNA from different biopsies of the same tumor was pooled. Quality control was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.
