The slides were hybridized for 17 h at 65°C, washed with Gene Expression Wash Buffer 1 (Agilent Technologies) for 1 min at room temperature, washed with Gene Expression Wash Buffer 2 (Agilent Technologies) for 1 min at 37 °C, and then air-dried.

Gene expression levels were calculated using Feature Extraction version 10.7.3.1 (Agilent Technologies) using default parameters to obtain background subtracted and spatially detrended Processed Signal intensities. Features flagged in Feature Extraction as Feature Non-uniform outliers were excluded.
