Extraction protocol |
RNA was prepared using the RNeasy Mini Kit (Cat. no. 74106, Qiagen, Tokyo, Japan) following the manufacturer's recommendations. DNA was digested byRQ1 RNase-Free DNase (Promega, Madison, WI). RNA was quantified using a NanoDrop 2000 spectrophotometer (Thermo Scientific, Yokohama, Japan).

Microarray slides were scanned in an Agilent Technologies G2505C Microarray Scanner at 3 micron resolution.

Data processing |
The scanned images were analyzed with Feature Extraction Software 10.7.3.1 (Agilent) using default parameters (protocol GE1_107_Sep09 and Grid: 028005_D_F_20110722) to obtain background subtracted and spatially detrended Processed Signal intensities. Features flagged in Feature Extraction as Feature Non-uniform outliers were excluded.
