Treatment protocol Cells were cultured to 80% confluence and were pre-incubated with BEBM for 48 hours prior to the removement of supernatant and RNA extraction
Growth protocol Isolated airway epithelial cells were grown in fully humidified air containing 5% CO2 at 37°C, and culture medium was replaced every other day.

Extraction protocol Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Description 48_D05
Data processing Array images were analyzed by Affymetrix Expression Console using the robust multichip analysis (RMA) algorithm. The normalized data were further analysed using R (version 2.9) and the Bioconductor Limma package (v.3.14.1). Probesets without a known geneID were excluded for further analyses.
The data was further normalized in R by quantile normalization between the arrays
