Title Comparing gene expression in iPSC derived RPE from control and AMD donors
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary iPSC-RPE cells derived from a patient with AMD, whom harboured the Y402H mutation were compared to healthy donor RPE cells.

Overall design RPE cells cultured for 6 months on hanging inserts were dissociated with TryPLE, cells were centrifuged at high speed for 3 minutes, TryPLE solution was aspirated. The cell pellet was then re-suspended in PBS. Cells were centrifuged a second time, PBS was removed and cell pellets were snap frozen on dry ice and stored at -80c until use
