Summary Tamoxifen-induced deletion of endogenous GlcCer-synthesizing enzyme UDP-glucose:ceramide glucosyltransferase (UGCG) in keratin K14-positive cells results in epidermal GlcCer depletion. We used microarrays to investigate the molecular consequences of Ugcg-depleted mouse epidermis.
