Title |
The lifespan and kinetics of human Dendritic Cell subsets and their precursors in health and inflammation |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Dendritic cells (DC) are specialised mononuclear phagocytes connecting innate and adaptive immunity. They comprise two principal subsets: plasmacytoid DC and conventional DC. Here, single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was performed to analyze the expression levels of different genes in circulating human DC subsets.

Overall design |
Following myeloid HLA+ cell enrichment of whole blood according to the method outlined (Lubin et al., 2023). The cells were subsequently stained and sorted using a Fluoresecence-avtivated cell soritng (FACS) to isolate DC. Sorted cells were separated into droplet emulsion using Chromium X (10X Genomics) and analyzed using scRNAseq.
