Title |
Transcriptome analysis of pulsed activation of MAPK signaling in HEK-RAF-ER cells [RNA_seq_pulse_time_series] |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
In this study we performed pulsed activation of MAPK signalling by inducing RAF activity of the RAF-ER constract by tamoxifen, and subsequently blocking MAPK activity using MEK inhibitor at different times. Transcriptomes were sampled 0.5 h to 8h after induction

|
Overall design |
Tamoxifen (4OHT, 0.5uM) was induced at t=0h, and the MEK inhibitor (U01126, 20uM) was added after 0.5h, 1h, 2h, and 4h. Transcriptomes were sampled at 0.5h, 1h, 2h, and 4h.
