Title |
Role of Renal Tubule Cpt1a in Murine Kidneys |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To compare the transcriptional profile in renal tubules conditional deletion of Cpt1a, to floxed littermate controls.

|
|
Overall design |
All mice were males and on a mixed background. Kidneys were either from mice that had Cpt1a deleted specifically in renal tubules (crossing Cpt1a floxed mice with Pax8-rTTA;tetO-Cre, which will be called Cpt1aCKO) or floxed controls. They had been treated for 3 weeks with doxycycline to activate Cre at age5-8 weeks.
