Title Role of Renal Tubule Cpt1a in Murine Kidneys
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To compare the transcriptional profile in renal tubules conditional deletion of Cpt1a, to floxed littermate controls.

Overall design All mice were males and on a mixed background.
Kidneys were either from mice that had Cpt1a deleted specifically in renal tubules (crossing Cpt1a floxed mice with Pax8-rTTA;tetO-Cre, which will be called Cpt1aCKO) or floxed controls. They had been treated for 3 weeks with doxycycline to activate Cre at age5-8 weeks.
