| Overall design |
The experiment was divided into a sepsis group and a control group, with a total of 9 male sepsis patients and 9 normal males aged between 65 and 90 years old. Blood samples were taken within 24 hours of diagnosis of sepsis, with each group consisting of 3 males, and each group had 3 replicates.
