Title Single-Cell Analysis of Dorsal Root Ganglia Reveals Metalloproteinase Signaling in Satellite Glial Cells and Pain
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Although satellite glial cells (SGCs) are among the most abundant non-neuronal cells in dorsal root ganglia (DRG), little is known about their heterogenity and functions. We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the heterogenity and unique functions of SGCs.

Overall design DRG tissues from three CD-1 mice were dissected and pooled, single cell suspension was generated by enzymatic and mechanical dissociation, and analyzed using scRNA-seq.
