Title |
Investigation of the regulon and RNA targets of RNase Y in Campylobacter jejuni |
Organism |
Campylobacter jejuni |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
RNA-seq was used to study gene expression profiles and potential processing sites in Campylobacter jejuni NCTC11168 wildtype and RNase Y (rny, Cj1209) deletion.
|
|
|
Overall design |
Total RNA was extracted from C. jejuni NCTC11168 WT and RNase Y deletion strains grown to exponential phase, genomic DNA was removed with DNase I and rRNA depleted, cDNA libraries were prepared at Vertis Biotechnologie AG, Freising, Germany, deep-sequencing was performed on an Illumina NextSeq 500 instrument
