Title MYC oncogene reprograms the local tissue microenvironment during prostate carcinogenesis
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To investigate the casual sequelae of MYC activation in the prostate tumor microenvironment (TME), we modeled MYC activation in the prostate TME using the transgenic Hi-Myc mouse model of prostate cancer.

Overall design We carried out scRNA-seq from each prostate lobe (anterior, dorsal, lateral, and ventral) of the MYC-driven mouse model of prostate cancer (Hi-MYC) in 6 month old mice in both FVB/NJ (N = 2) and C57BL/6J (N =2) mouse strains, as well as age-matched wild type animals (FVB/NJ N =2, C57BL/6J N = 3). Additionally we performed scRNA-seq analysis in the dorsal and lateral lobes of 10 month (+/- 6 weeks) old mice FVB/NJ Hi-Myc mice (N = 2) and age matched WT dorsal and lateral lobes (N = 2).
