Title |
Enhancing Autophagy in CD11c+ Antigen Presenting Cells as a Therapeutic Strategy for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Lung Inflammation |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To investigate the role of autophagy in CD11c+ APCs in a mouse model of Poly(I:C)-induced ALI/ARDS
|
|
|
Overall design |
We generated two animal models; mice with a deletion of autophagy-related gene 5 (Atg5) specifically in CD11c+ APCs to impair autophagy and mice with overexpression of transcription factor EB (Tfeb), a regulator of autophagy, in CD11c+ APCs to constitutively induce autophagy.
