Overall design |
In the phase I experiment, we focused on screening the RNA transcripts with constantly altered m6A levels during a relatively long period of time post irradiation (TPI) in mouse PBMCs. In this phase, a total of 25 mice exposed to a dose of 6.5 Gy gamma rays were randomly divided into 5 groups for a time-course measurement of the physiological and molecular phenotypes of mice, and 5 sham-exposed mice were used as the control group. The phase II experiment focused on identifying the RNA transcripts that still exhibit significantly altered m6A sites even with a lower dose TBI. In this phase, a total of 10 mice exposed to a dose of 2 Gy gamma rays were randomly divided into 2 groups, and 5 sham-exposed mice were used as the control group.
