Title |
single-nucleus RNA-seq of microvessel-enriched vascular cells and corresponding parenchyma from frontal cortex samples |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Vascular cell types are under-represented in standard single-nucleus RNA-Seq studies of human frozen post-mortem brain tissue. Using a novel microvessel-enrichment procedure allows to obtain highly purified fractions of vascular cell types and their corresponding parenchymal fraction of the same post-mortem brain tissue sample.

Overall design |
Vascular and parenchymal fractions of post-mortem frontal cortex samples were obtained from 10 control and 10 Alzheimer's disease patients, resulting in a total of 40 samples subjected to single-nucleus RNA-seq (10X Genomics)
