Title |
Loss of centrosomal gene ALMS1 alters lipid metabolism and the regulation of processes linked to the extracellular matrix. |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To investigate the alterations that occur in the TGF-B signalling pathway in Alström syndrome, we established by lentiviral transduction with CRISPR an hTERT-BJ-5ta cell line with the ALMS1 gene inhibited. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 different cells (WT and KO) after 24h of TGF-β stimulation.

Overall design |
Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for hTERT BJ-5ta cells and its KO derivatives for ALMS1 gene (ALMS1KO) after TGF-β stimulation.
