Title |
Pregnancy-induced maternal microchimerism shapes neurodevelopment and behavior in mice |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Maternal immune cells (called 'Maternal microchimeric cells' (short: MMc)) seed fetal brain tissue during pregnancy. We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to characterize the diversity of MMc in the fetal brain.

Overall design |
C57BL/6 female mice were mated to CByJ.SJL(B6)-Ptprca/J male mice. MMc were isolated from 16 fetal brains from 4 litters by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) according to CD45.2 and H-2Db/b expression and analyzed using scRNAseq.
