Title |
RNA-seq data of 293T cells trasfected with different viral PA-X proteins of influenza viruses |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
PA-X is a small accessory protein that modulates the virulence of various influenza A virus both in mammals and birds. However, the specific role of PA-X in the pathogenesis of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus (HPAIV) H7N9 subtype in mammals and avian species is largely unknown. By functional analysis, we want to investigate critical amino acids that contribute to the host shutoff ability of the PA-X protein of the H7N9 virus in 293T cells

Overall design |
Two time points were set. Each time point, a total of three biological samples were analyzed, each of them had triplication. The samples are named PAX-24h, PAX-48h, PAX-N3-24h, PAX-N3-48h, PAX-N6-24h, PAX-N6-48h, PCAGGS, repectively.
PA-X = the parental PA-X protein of the H7N9 influenza virus PAX-N3 = the mutant isoform of PA-X carrying I94V mutation in the parental PA-X PAX-N6 = the mutant isoform of PA-X carrying A100V in the parental PA-X
