Summary |
Our data demonstrate that in innate immune cells, AUF1 does not act as a generic anti-inflammatory factor but has a rather distinct role in selective macrophage phenotypes.

Overall design |
We use a conditional allele for the myeloid deletion of the hnRNPD gene and employ a disease-oriented phenotypic screen to assess the requirement of AUF1 in contexts of innate immune reactivity.
