Title Glomerular endothelial cell and podocyte stresses as well as crosstalk in structurally normal kidney transplants
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Even among apparently healthy human allografts with no detectable histologic abnormality, transcriptomic changes reflecting cell stresses have already been set in motion that could drive hypertrophy-associated glomerular disease progression

Overall design Cell-specific transcriptional profiles of GECs and podocytes of 1st-year surveillance biopsies (n=14) with normal histology from low immune risk recipients with no post-transplant complications were compared to healthy living donor controls (n=20) in an observational study
***note from submitter: The raw data which includes patient sequencing data cannot be uploaded now due to IRB restrictions.***
