Summary We measured the mRNA and microRNA profiles of HeLa cells to quantify the amount of microRNAs and their competing RNAs to investigate the relationship between microRNAs, competing RNAs and gene expression noise.
 
Overall design HeLa cells were harvested and then total RNAs of the cells were extracted for NGS.
