Title Structural basis of ABCF-mediated resistance to pleuromutilin, lincosamide, and streptogramin A antibiotics in Gram-positive pathogens
Organism Enterococcus faecalis
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary We present evidence of mechanistically diverse allosteric relays converging on a few peptidyltransferase center (PTC) nucleotides, and propose a general model of antibiotic resistance mediated by these ARE-ABCFs

Overall design E. faecalis cell lysate and RqcH 50s-bound (i.e. immunopreciptated, RqcH 50s-IP) tRNAs used for tRNA microarrays to measure tRNA abundance – 2 biological replicates in total; 2 – RqcH 50s-IP and 1 - total tRNA (lysate)
