Summary |
High throughput miRNA microarray screening approach, we compared the miRNA expression pattern in ruptured aneurysm tissues obtained during surgery from patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) with control tissues. Aim was to determine miRNA signature in aneurysmal tissues.

Overall design |
Case-Control Study. Total RNA was isolated from aneurysm tissue and controls. RNA from both sample and reference was labeled with Hy3™ and Hy5™ fluorescent label, respectively and The Hy3™-labeled samples and Hy5™-labeled reference RNA sample were mixed pair-wise and hybridized to the miRCURY LNA™ microRNA Array 7th Gen from Exiqon.
