Title |
Effects of IL-4 and IL-6 on gene expression in macrophages |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages were treated with IL-4 or IL-6. RNA was isolated and analyzed by RNAseq. The effects of IL-4 and IL-6 on gene expression was determined.

Overall design |
Bone marrow cells were isolated from three C57BL/6 mice and treated with 10 ng/ml MCSF for 3 days, followed by treatment with 10 ng/ml MCSF plus 10 ng/ml IL-4 or 100 ng/ml IL-6 for 4 days. RNA was analyzed by RNAseq.
