Title Bacteria-host transcriptional response during endothelial invasion by Staphylococcus aureus
Organisms Staphylococcus aureus; Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary The purpose of the study was to investigate the transcriptomic responses of S. aureus and HUVEC cells before and during S. aureus invasion of HUVEC cells.

Overall design In vitro investigation of the expression profiles of S. aureus in inoculum and uninfected HUVEC cells as well during S. aureus infection of HUVEC cells (1hpi and 16hpi).
