Title |
Effects of ascorbic acid on topotecan-induced DNA damage in human tumor cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
To investigate mechanisms and differential gene expressions in topotecan-induced DNA damage and effects of ascorbic acid/hydrogen peroxide on these genes in topotecan cytotoxicity in tumor cells
|
|
|
Overall design |
MCF-7 breast tumor cells were treated with toptecan and combinations of topotecan and ascorbic acid in RPMI 1640 media containing 10% FBS for various times. Cells wre lysed with Triazol reagent and tyotal RNA was extracted and purified.
