Title |
Neural progenitor cells mediated by histone variant H2A.Z.2 regulate microglia development in the embryonic brain |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized systems-based analysis of gene expression. The goals of this study are to compare the different transcripts between H2A.Z.2 knockout in NPCs and WT E16.5 cerebral brain tissue.

Overall design |
Methods: Total RNA was extracted from E16.5 cortical tissue of H2A.Z.2 cKO and WT mice. Then RNA was quality controlled and quantified using an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. After converting to cDNA and building library, high-throughput sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform in Annoroad Genomics. Significantly differentially expressed genes were identified when we compared Normalized Reads Count between groups with p < 0.05 and |Log2FoldChange| > 1.
