Summary |
We used RNA-seq to examine transcriptional proflies of midguts with suppression of Imd in progenitors (e_* samples) or enterocytes (M_* samples) . We found significant differences between the contributions of enterocyte IMD and progenitor IMD to intestinal homeostasis.

Overall design |
Genotype control flies and flies with Imd inhibition were raised on regular food (Bloomington standard food) for 10 days at 29C after eclosion. Guts were dissected for RNA extraction and total RNA, in triplicate, sent to Novogene for library construction and sequencing.
