We report the systematic identification of BMP (bone morphogenetic protein) target genes in zebrafish during dorsal-ventral patterning using RNA-sequencing.

Overall design |
Transcript levels in shield-stage zebrafish embryos overexpressing bmp or the BMP inhibitor chordin (chd) were compared to transcript levels in uninjected embryos using RNA-sequencing. Three repeats containing 10 embryos each were analyzed per condition.
